Answering A Call Waiting Call
Posted by on 10 March 2014 06:40 PM

If you receive an incoming call while on the phone, there are two ways you can switch between active calls for handling multiple calls.

Using hold key:

  1. Press the HOLD key to attend to the new call: the first call will be put on hold automatically.

  2. To switch between active calls, continue to press the hold key until the desired line number and call is active. If line keys are not programmed then the active line can also be seen as denoted by an “L” followed by the line number on the display.

    • As an example calls on line one would show “L1” in the top left of the display.

Using line key:

If you have multiple line keys programmed:

  1. Press the line key that is green indicating that there is a new call coming in on that line. Your original caller will be put on hold automatically.

  2. Line keys are lit different colors to reflect the status of that call:

    • The line keys that are lit red indicate that you are actively connected to that call and speaking with them.

    • Keys that are lit green indicate that the call is still on hold.

  3. You can switch between active calls by pressing the other line keys to place the current call on hold and switch to the other caller.
