My Account - Settings

When callers access the auto attendant, they will be prompted to enter the first three digits of your last name in order to contact you from the corporate directory.

Step 1:

  • Go to the My Account drop down menu
  • Select Settings
  • If you have not done so, record a greeting by selecting Record Greeting at the bottom of the page
  • Enter the call destination (phone number or extension) where you will be recording your greeting and press Start Record Greeting
  • Your phone will ring and you will be prompted to complete your recording

Step 2:

  • Select Change from the first informative box in the Settings menu
  • Make sure the Directory Match corresponds with the first three digits of your last name (depends on how your company directory is set up)
  • To include your name in the dial by name directory locate Directory and change to Yes
  • Select Apply
  • Refresh if the information is not yet updated
