Known Dashboard Issues
Posted by Bob Russo on 11 November 2014 07:32 AM

ESI recognizes the current issue with the Dashboard application as of release 1.0.7 (recent additions are noted in yellow):

CCD-59 - Phone Programming shows reseller contacts instead of user contacts - We have discovered a problem in the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard when using a reseller account to configure phone programming for a user's phone. The list of speed dial numbers that appears when setting a Speed Dial key is populated by your account's users rather than those of the user's domain. We have a fix in test and will announce release of the fix soon.
UPDATE 11/19/14 - This issue has been resolved with release 1.0.9 dashboard

CCD-87 - Enabling DND from the Dashboard doesn't stop calls from ringing - Currently there is an operational mismatch between phone-level Do Not Disturb (DND) and system-level. The effect of this mismatch is that when a phone is part of a Call Queue and they set DND through the dashboard they will still receive calls from the Call Queue. We are working on possible resolutions, and will release more information as development progresses.

CCD-122 - One-way audio after hold - There is an intermittent issue with the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard that causes one-way audio after a call is picked up from hold if the Dashboard was used to place the call on hold. We are still investigatign this issue and hope to have a fix in place soon.

CCD-162 - Simultaneous ringing pralys wrong prompt - An issue in the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard has been discovered that causes Answering Rules which use Simultaneous Ringing to provide an errant "enter your password" prompt to play to callers. This issue has been resolved, but some users may still bump into the problem due to the configuration of the extension at the time of creation. If you have users experiencing this issue, please contact ESI Technical Support with the affected extension and their Answering Rules configuration to have the problem rectified.

CCD-247 - New answering rules go to the top of the page - We have discovered an issue with the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard that causes newly added Answering Rules to be shown above the Default Answering rule. This makes it appear that the new rule overrides the Default rule even when it doesn't. The issue is a core services behavior that we are still working on. More information will be announced as we come closer to a resolution, but in the mean time it is recommended that you manually reorder your Answering Rules after any new rules are added.

CCD-252 - Cannot answer screened calls - A bug has been disovered in the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard that prevents a user from being able to answer a call through the dashboard when call screening is enabled. This bug is due to the need to dial a 1 to answer the call. We are working on a fix for release soon, but until that fix is released it is necessary for users to pick up the phone and dial a 1 to answer these calls.

CCD-386 - Export contacts doesn't filter - We have found a bug in the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard that prevents contacts from being exported properly after a filter was applied. The problem caused all contacts to be exported regardless of filtering. We have a fix in test and anticipate resolution in the next few days.
UPDATE 11/19/14 - This issue has been resolved with release 1.0.9 dashboard

CCD-491 - Contacts popout doesn't sync - We are aware of an issue with the ESI Cloud Communications Dashboard that prevents the popout contacts window from synchronizing changes with the home page sometimes. This issue has been found to relate to a geo-redundancy issue and is being resolved. We anticipate a fix to the field before Thanksgiving.
UPDATE 11/19/14 - This issue has been resolved with release 1.0.9 dashboard

Fixes for these issues are under development, not all issues may be fixed in a single release.
