Integrating 3rd party SIP phone on IP900
Posted by Bob Russo on 19 August 2015 07:43 AM

The purpose of the attached document is to lay out the steps taken to integrate a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phone - also called a VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, phone - that is not Estech Systems, Inc (ESI) equipment (Cisco, Polycom, etc.) into the ESI Internet Protocol Server 900 (IP-900) phone system.  This document covers integrating both local and remote SIP phones.

Note: This document assumes the reseller has taken ESI reseller training and knows the ESI function codes.  As that information is covered in other ESI documents, it is not covered here.
