Vintalk Firewall Issue - December 19, 2011

Dear Vintalk Customer,

Please accept our apologies for the technical difficulties that we experienced December 19, 2011. We are in the midst of migrating our customer base to our new data centers in Los Angeles, New York, and Hong Kong.  Unfortunately we encountered an unplanned problem as a backup server did not kick in due to a firewall issue.  We can assure you that we have made the necessary adjustments so that this problem never happens again.

The complete migration will last approximately four weeks as we continue to expand our network capacities and improve serviceability.  During the migration to our new geo-redundant Internap data centers we hope to keep any additional technical issues to a minimum and timed during off-peak hours if they do happen.  Please understand that we are making a significant investment in our network and infrastructure for the long-term benefit of our customers and you will reap the benefits from these improvements for years to come.
